Flexible Silicone Heaters

Flexible silicone heaters provide a reliable and economical heat source, capable of providing constant heat to any surface. Argus Heating will design a flexible silicone heater to suit your application.

Features and benefits

  • Can be custom made to a shape and size to suit your requirements.
  • Perform well under adverse conditions, remaining strong, flexible, and durable.
  • Can be attached with silicone adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape to mechanical fastenings.
  • Thermal sensors can be moulded into the heater.

Construction

  • Resistance wire wound on a fiberglass core.
  • Silicone rubber or PTFE leads.
  • Thermostat or thermocouple fitted on request.
  • Can be used with an Argus Heating digital  controller where accurate temperature control is required.

Applications

Typically used for:

  • Accurate and constant heat for process, pipe, and tank heating.
  • Providing continual heat to offer freeze protection and prevent contents from solidifying.
  • Melting solids for various applications.
